About me

When I began my therapy journey, the world seemed like a blur, with no clear path. I couldn’t see the wood for the trees, but now a clear path has emerged before me.

Therapy can be sought for many various reasons, maybe you need to navigate and understand depression and anxiety, build on your self-worth and self-esteem, overcome depression or conquer an addiction. I firmly believe that the relationship I build with you forms the foundation of successful therapy. When you feel safe and understood, you can begin to connect with the challenging emotions and feelings that may be overwhelming you. At times, these emotions can become stagnant, leading to painful negative experiences such as depression, anger, anxiety or sadness. Through therapy, we can work together to understand your negative emotions by looking back into their origin and understand how these feelings are impacting your life today.

Everyone is unique, as a therapist I approach everyone with open eyes and ears.

I want to truly understand your experiences and help you to uncover the path that leads to clarity and fulfilment.

A glimpse into my journey

I grew up in a disadvantaged community, where I encountered numerous challenges during the early stages of my life. However, despite the difficulties I faced, I discovered the transformative power of therapy. Therapy allowed me to gain insight into aspects of my thinking that had previously eluded me. Following an extensive career in the social care field, I felt inspired to embark on the journey of becoming a therapist.

I have therapy experience working in the areas of:

Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Childhood Trauma, Relationships, Workplace stress, Shame, ADHD, Overthinking, Intrusive thoughts, Sex Work, Abuse
and LGBTQ+
